Characters We’d Like to See on Once Upon a Time

It's not just for fairy tales anymore...

Picture 1 of 14

ABC's Once Upon a Time is often described as “that fairy tale show,” but that’s not an entirely accurate characterization. True, the bucolic seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine is home to famous fairy tale denizens such as Snow White, the Evil Queen, Red Riding Hood, and Rumpelstiltskin, but many of their friends and neighbors tend to, shall we say, endorse alternate origins. Frankenstein’s monster? Sorry, not a fairy tale character. Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz? Not a fairy tale character. Pinocchio? No, not really. Jekyll and Hyde? Nope.

With this, um, narrative flexibility in mind, and in honor of the show’s sixth season beginning on September 25, we respectfully submit the following iconic characters who haven’t visited Storybrooke yet… but they need to, without delay.
