Eureka is on hiatus...
The Story So Far
Synopsis:
Eureka is a haven for brilliant scientists who sometimes get carried away and endanger the town, the world, or sometimes the fabric of reality itself, with their extraordinary advances and crazy shenanigans. Luckily, Sherriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is on hand to make sure all of their many, many harebrained schemes are brought back under some semblance of control.
Season 1:
Jack Carter is returning fugitive -- and his daughter -- Zoe (Jordan Hinson) to her Mom in a very awkward family road trip. On the way, they pass near the town of Eureka, Oregon, and a car accident soon has Jack inveigled into staying on as the new town Sherriff. He slowly wins over the townspeople, including his ex-Special Forces Deputy, Jo Lupo (Erica Serra), and also learns the truth of Eureka: it was built as a haven for the world’s greatest minds, most of whom are employed by local Government think tank and contractor, Global Dynamics. The Carters move into a talking house; Zoe has trouble fitting in at Tesla High (which is full of brilliant scientists); Carter becomes close friends with town mechanic (and brilliant scientist) Henry Deacon (Joe Morton); pines over military liaison (and brilliant scientist) Dr. Alison Blake (Salli Richardson-Whitfield); and develops an intense rivalry with her ex-husband, Global Dynamics’ head honcho (and brilliant scientist), Dr. Nathan Stark (Ed Quinn). Stark investigates the enigmatic “Artifact” which is kept in GD’s secretive Level 5. There’s a lot of time travel. Various experiments go awry and Jack has to save the town from imminent disaster quite often. And a brilliant scientist Dr. Douglas Fargo (Neil Grayston) gets the town into trouble a lot.
Season 2:
Recovering from an alternate timeline adventure that saw Jack happily married to Alison and with a baby on the way, he finds it hard to adjust, but Henry erases his memories. Stark, as punishment for messing with the Artifact, is replaced as head of GD… by Alison. Alison and Stark’s autistic son (and brilliant scientist) Kevin is used by a sinister organization who want to harness the power of the Artifact, but Henry saves him and is arrested. Stark proposes to Alison. Jack pines over Alison. Various experiments go awry and Jack has to save the town from imminent disaster quite often. Fargo gets the town into trouble a lot.
Season 3.0:

Jo and brilliant scientist Zane Donovan (Niall Matter) start dating. Zoe does something useful. And starts dating brilliant scientist Lucas (Vanya Asher). Jack’s pregnant sister Lexi (Ever Carradine) comes to town. Alison discovers she’s also pregnant. Jack pines over Alison. Various experiments go awry and Jack has to save the town from imminent disaster quite often. Fargo gets the town into trouble a lot. And Jack gets fired!Season 3.5:
